RF RESTORATION specialises in the refurbishment of traditional Sash & Case Windows that make up the very fabric of Edinburgh. The services we provide range from a simple replacement of broken cords, installation of the ‘Simplex System’ to a high end full restoration and repainting. Restored with a love for this system I have utter faith that what may look like a lost cause can be transformed into a working, aesthetically pleasing, noise-reducing and draught-proof solution without any need for ripping out a piece of beautiful craftsmanship.
We use Repair Care Resin to make repairs and preservative primer to solidify and protect the wood before applying either the Dulux WeatherShield System or Tikkurila to specification required to ensure the longest life possible for your windows.
